These recommendations reflect the best judgment of the IIPSJ directors.  Students are cautioned to consult with their faculty advisors and with the IIPSJ directors for tailoring a law school program to the student's particular interests.

The most standard course sequence would be this (:

2L Spring -- Copyright or
Trademarks

3L Fall -- Patent
Entertainment Law

3L Spring -- Cyberspace Law or
Patent Policy Seminar or

For those with a technical degree who are strongly interested in patent law, the recommended course sequence would be along these lines:

Introduction to IP (can be put off to 3rd year)

2L Spring -- Copyright or Trademark

3L Fall -- Introduction to IP (if not taken in the second year)

3L Spring -- Patent Policy Seminar

3L Fall -- Entertainment Law

3L Spring -- Cyberspace Law
