IIPSJ works with the HUSL Faculty and administration to continue to develop an HUSL intellectual property curriculum which not only effectively helps students master the doctrine and policies of the various forms of intellectual property protection, but which also helps students develop the skills needed to use evolving concepts of social justice to critically examine the conformance of the doctrine and policies of intellectual property protection with the needs of social justice in the digital age. IPSJ supports a pedagogical methodology in all of the IP courses that examines both the theoretical aspects of IP and social justice as well as the practical effects of intellectual property regimes on social justice, particularly in the context of socio-economic themes such as the domestic and global digital divide.
IIPSJ has also prepared a recommended IP course sequence for HUSL students.
